JAPS builds a static, tweakable portfolio for developers by discovering deployed sites on Netlify and pairing each site with its GitHub repository through deploy metadata. It extracts factual project data, captures real screenshots of live sites, and generates grounded, multilingual project texts with opt-in publishing and anonymization for client or private work.
Built with Astro, Vue and TypeScript, JAPS runs as a local CLI pipeline that can publish to Netlify and as an optional hosted service that imports projects and generates texts. The repository shows active development (73 commits, 30 pull requests) and the codebase includes Hono and Zod plus testing with Playwright and Vitest.
